Swim Course

The swim is "snake-style"(see images below), meaning that everyone will line up according to their swim time (please time yourself at 300 yards before the race) and start individually (~10-15 seconds apart), swimming one behind the other. You will do "laps" to the end of the pool and back staying to your right at all times (swim to the end of one lane on the right and come back on the left), duck under the ropes and swim to the end of that lane and back, and so on. If you must pass, simply tap the toes of the person in front of you.... if your toes are tapped, move to the side and let the person through. IMPORTANT: If you estimate your time too fast or too slow it will hurt YOUR overall time and the others around you. Your best time will come if you don't pass or get passed.,and that means an accurately estimated swim time. We reserve the right to remove athletes from the pool and re-start them if needed.

Bike Course

The bike course will consist of a six mile rectangular loop that participants will complete counter-clockwise twice. Terrain is rolling with a few sections of rough pavement on the middle stretch of Farm Road 186. Participants need to be careful taking the left-hand turn at FR 194 and FR 101. There are no aid stations on the bike course and the course is open to traffic, but volunteers will be stationed at all turns.

Run Course

The run course will consist of a flat 5K loop through low-traffic neighborhoods adjacent to Miller Park. The course is open to traffic, but volunteers will be stationed at all intersections and water stops. We will have aid stations placed as participants leave the transition area, at mile 1, and at mile 2.
